The U1000 Plus uses an 8.46MP Sony STARVIS IMX515 sensor to record 4K UHD at 30fps, or smoother 2K QHD at 60fps. We supply and fit it as a front and rear kit. It adds driver-assistance warnings, works with THINKWARE CONNECTED for remote live view and impact notifications, and takes microSD cards up to 512GB.

Will parking mode drain my battery?+

No. Our hardwired install uses a low-voltage cut-off that switches the camera off before your battery gets too low to start the car.

Can I add an interior camera?+

Yes. Thinkware's interior infrared camera works with the U1000 Plus, recording the cabin in Full HD with infrared for low light. It's popular with taxi and private hire drivers. Price on request; add it when you book.

What is THINKWARE CONNECTED?+

Thinkware's cloud service. With a data connection it sends impact notifications to your phone and lets you see a live view and your car's location remotely. Ask us about the connection options.

ARC700, U1000 Plus or U3000 Pro?+

The ARC700 is our best-value 4K kit. The U1000 Plus adds driver-assistance alerts, 2K at 60fps and cloud compatibility. The U3000 Pro is the flagship, with Sony STARVIS 2 sensors front and rear and built-in radar parking mode.
