Same hardware and software number on both labels. We clone the original onto the donor and send both back.

2. Service

Service-mode clone (VAG MEDC17, SIMOS, PCR2.1)

Everything copied from the original to the donor, including the immobiliser data, then verified. Read bench - boot.

If the original cannot be read at all, cloning is not possible and we contact you before doing anything else.

I’ve read how the service works: I’ll send both units (well packed, marked which is the original, with my reference), the price covers cloning an original that can still be read, and if it can’t be read or needs extra work I’ll be contacted before anything else is done.
