Stage 1 & Stage 2
The B47 diesel is built with real headroom in the factory calibration. A specialist remap unlocks the performance the engine and drivetrain were designed to handle, transforming mid-range response.
A Stage 1 remap on the 320d requires no hardware modifications. The extra torque arrives from around 1,800–2,500rpm — exactly where you spend most of your time driving.
Stage 2 pairs a custom map with supporting hardware such as a free-flowing exhaust, pushing the B47 further while keeping the drivetrain within safe margins.
What Changes
On the 320d we recalibrate boost pressure, fuelling and ignition timing. The result is a broader, flatter torque curve that pulls harder from lower revs without touching the car's day-to-day drivability.
Factory boost is set conservatively to suit global markets and fuel grades. We raise it to a level the B47 can comfortably sustain.
Fuel delivery is recalibrated to match the new boost levels precisely, giving a cleaner burn and better response.
Timing is advanced where the engine can safely benefit, improving combustion efficiency and torque delivery.
