The Pandora Storm is an insurer-recognised Thatcham Category 2 immobiliser. The car can't be driven until you authorise it, using an encrypted Bluetooth tag, the Pandora app on your phone, or a secret PIN code entered on the car's own buttons. It's built to beat the methods thieves use on modern cars: key cloning, key scanning and relay attacks.

Three ways to authorise

Carry the encrypted Bluetooth tag, use the Pandora app on your phone, or enter a secret code on the car's own buttons. That's handy if you ever forget the tag.

Anti-hijack protection

If the car is taken while the engine's running and your tag is no longer inside, Storm safely shuts the engine down once the vehicle is a safe distance away from you.

128-bit encrypted tag

The Bluetooth tag uses 128-bit encryption, so it can't be scanned or copied the way a factory key can.

Keep your factory key

Storm works alongside your normal key or keyless entry, so you drive exactly as before.

Modern and older vehicles

Designed for CAN-bus, FD-CAN and traditional wiring, so it suits most cars, vans and ATVs.

The hidden unit verifies the encrypted tag or code before the car is allowed to drive.

Stopped if not

Will the Pandora Storm reduce my insurance?+

Many insurers recognise Thatcham Category 2 immobilisers and some offer a discount, though it varies by insurer. We'll give you written confirmation of the installation to pass on.

What if I lose or forget my tag?+

You can still authorise the car using the Pandora app on your phone or your secret PIN code on the car's buttons.

How does anti-hijack work?+

If the engine is running and the tag is no longer in the car, for example because you've been forced out, Storm waits until the car is a safe distance away, then safely stops the engine.

How long does fitting take?+

Around 3 hours for most vehicles. We'll confirm when you book.
