Stage 1 & Stage 2
The B58 is BMW's flagship petrol six-cylinder, used in the M2, M3 and Supra at significantly higher outputs. In the M140i it runs conservatively to protect the drivetrain warranty. The hardware is easily capable of 420hp+ on a Stage 1 map.
A Stage 1 remap requires no hardware modifications. Our specialist software recalibrates boost, fuelling and ignition timing within the engine’s safe limits, delivering instant, driveable gains.
Stage 2 requires hardware modifications — typically a performance exhaust, uprated intercooler or induction kit alongside a custom ECU map, unlocking the full potential of the B58 3.0T Inline-6 engine.
What Changes
We recalibrate boost from the twin-scroll turbo, fuelling, ignition timing and throttle maps on the B58. The torque increase is felt immediately from 2,000rpm — the car accelerates with relentless force all the way to the redline.
Factory boost is set conservatively. We raise it to the level the turbo and internals can comfortably sustain, unlocking power that was always there.
Fuel delivery is recalibrated to match new boost levels precisely — giving a cleaner burn, better response and improved efficiency under light loads.
Timing is advanced where the engine can safely benefit, improving combustion efficiency and delivering more torque across the full rev range.
The factory throttle map is deliberately muted. We sharpen it so the car responds the moment you press the pedal — no lag, no hesitation.

Yes — the M140i was available with both 6-speed manual and 8-speed ZF auto. We can also remap the ZF gearbox for sharper, faster shifts to complement the engine map.
