Fiat · Ducato · Motorhome & Campervan Base
The Ducato is the base chassis behind most UK motorhomes and campervan conversions, and it's one of our most requested remaps. Factory power is set for the bare chassis, not the finished weight of a converted vehicle — a Stage 1 remap gives back the torque you need for hills, motorways and full loads.

Stage 1 & Stage 2
The 2.3 Multijet is used across an enormous range of base weights and body conversions, so the factory map has to be conservative. A properly written Stage 1 file gives back real, usable torque with no hardware changes.
A Stage 1 remap on the Ducato requires no hardware modifications. Most of the gain arrives in the mid-range — pulling out of junctions, overtaking, and holding a gear on a climb rather than dropping down for it.
Stage 2 pairs a custom map with supporting hardware such as an uprated intercooler, pushing the Multijet further for owners who need the extra margin for a heavier build.
What Changes
On the Ducato we recalibrate boost pressure, fuelling and torque delivery to suit the vehicle's actual weight, not a generic base-chassis figure. The result is a flatter, stronger torque curve that's noticeably easier to live with once the vehicle's converted and loaded.
Factory boost is set to suit the lightest, unconverted version of the Ducato. We raise it to a level the 2.3 Multijet can comfortably sustain.
Fuel delivery is recalibrated to match the new boost levels precisely, improving response without hurting reliability.
We smooth out the torque curve so power arrives earlier and holds for longer — the part that matters most on a loaded conversion.
We sharpen the throttle map so the vehicle responds the moment you press the pedal, useful for motorway joins and overtaking.
Common Questions

A quality remap modifies the ECU's calibration data rather than adding any external hardware. It leaves no physical trace and does not trigger warning lights.
All work is carried out at our workshop in Ammanford, which also has a MAHA 4WD dyno for before/after verification.
Very much so — it's one of our most requested remaps. Motorhomes and converted campervans are heavy, and the factory Ducato map is tuned for the base chassis, not the finished weight. The extra torque makes hills, motorway joins and overtaking far less stressful.
No — our Stage 1 software stays within the engine's safe operating limits. If anything, having usable torque available at lower revs means the engine works less hard to maintain speed when the vehicle is fully loaded, which many owners find easier on the drivetrain day to day.
