Stage 1 & Stage 2
Mercedes deliberately detuned the M260 to create separation between the A35 and A45 AMG. The hardware is capable of significantly more — a carefully calibrated remap recovers that margin safely.
A Stage 1 remap on the Mercedes-Benz A35 AMG requires no hardware modifications. Our specialist software recalibrates boost, fuelling and ignition timing within the engine’s safe limits, delivering instant, driveable gains you’ll feel from the first drive.
What Changes
We recalibrate boost, fuelling and ignition on the M260. The gains are strongest in the mid-range, delivering sharper throttle response and noticeably harder acceleration from 2,000rpm — exactly where you drive it most.
Factory boost is set conservatively. We raise it to the level the turbo and internals can comfortably sustain, unlocking power that was always there.
Fuel delivery is recalibrated to match the new boost levels precisely — giving a cleaner burn, better response and improved efficiency under light loads.
Timing is advanced where the engine can safely benefit, improving combustion efficiency and delivering more torque across the full rev range.
The factory throttle map is deliberately muted. We sharpen it so the car responds the moment you press the pedal — no lag, no hesitation.

A quality remap modifies the ECU’s calibration data rather than adding any external hardware. While a dealership with specialist equipment could detect a changed map, it leaves no physical trace and does not trigger warning lights.
Both options are available. Our workshop in Ammanford has a MAHA 4WD dyno for before/after verification. Our mobile technicians also cover the whole of South Wales and can come to your home or workplace.
Remapping under an active manufacturer warranty may affect it. We always back up the original map so it can be restored before any warranty work. Once the warranty period ends, there are no concerns.
A Stage 1 remap takes the A35 to around 360hp — approaching A45 S territory (421hp). Stage 2 with hardware upgrades can get closer still, at a fraction of the A45 price.
