Stage 1 & Stage 2
The Theta II 2.0T is shared with the Kia Stinger and Genesis G70. It's a robust, high-quality unit running at conservative outputs in the i30N. The factory map has clear headroom for a meaningful Stage 1 tune.
A Stage 1 remap requires no hardware modifications. Our specialist software recalibrates boost, fuelling and ignition timing within the engine’s safe limits, delivering instant, driveable gains.
What Changes
Boost, fuelling and ignition maps are recalibrated on the Theta II. The torque increase is felt strongly through the mid-range — where the i30N already shines — making it more urgent and satisfying to drive on both road and track.
Factory boost is set conservatively. We raise it to the level the turbo and internals can comfortably sustain, unlocking power that was always there.
Fuel delivery is recalibrated to match new boost levels precisely — giving a cleaner burn, better response and improved efficiency under light loads.
Timing is advanced where the engine can safely benefit, improving combustion efficiency and delivering more torque across the full rev range.
The factory throttle map is deliberately muted. We sharpen it so the car responds the moment you press the pedal — no lag, no hesitation.

No — the remap adjusts engine ECU parameters only. The NGS and various drive modes remain fully functional and are not affected by the calibration change.
The i30N Performance model has slightly different factory calibration but responds equally well. The gains are similar across both variants.
