Stage 1 & Stage 2
The G16E-GTS was developed specifically for the GR Yaris using technology from Toyota's World Rally Championship programme. It's built to handle high stress — the factory 261hp output leaves room for a meaningful Stage 1 tune.
A Stage 1 remap requires no hardware modifications. Our specialist software recalibrates boost, fuelling and ignition timing within the engine’s safe limits, delivering instant, driveable gains.
What Changes
We carefully recalibrate boost, fuelling and ignition on the G16E-GTS. The torque increase fills in the mid-range, making the already-sharp GR Yaris even more responsive — particularly between 2,500 and 5,000rpm where it spends most of its time.
Factory boost is set conservatively. We raise it to the level the turbo and internals can comfortably sustain, unlocking power that was always there.
Fuel delivery is recalibrated to match new boost levels precisely — giving a cleaner burn, better response and improved efficiency under light loads.
Timing is advanced where the engine can safely benefit, improving combustion efficiency and delivering more torque across the full rev range.
The factory throttle map is deliberately muted. We sharpen it so the car responds the moment you press the pedal — no lag, no hesitation.
